Compliance deadlines don't announce themselves.

Bitwright Software builds subscription monitoring tools for small businesses that have to stay registered, licensed and in good standing — and have nobody whose job it is to watch. Each product tracks one public record continuously and tells you before something lapses, not after.

What we build

Bitwright builds subscription software in one narrow shape: a public or regulatory record that changes on its own schedule, watched continuously, with an alert the moment it moves against the business that depends on it.

Registrations lapse. Licenses come up for renewal. Scores and statuses refresh on a government calendar nobody circulated. A large company assigns someone to watch. A small one finds out from a notice. Our products close that gap for a subscription, one record at a time.

Continuous

Watched, not sampled

Each product polls its source on the cadence that source actually changes — not once at onboarding, and not when someone remembers to check.

Sourced

From the authoritative record

We read the public or regulatory record itself. No access to your books, your systems or your customers is required for a product to work.

Early

Before the deadline

An alert names what changed and what it means, while there is still time to act — which is the entire value of knowing.

Products are released individually as each reaches production. Availability and pricing for a specific product are confirmed at signup.

How it works

Tell us what to watch

An entity, a carrier, a license, a seller — whatever the unit of risk is for that product.

We poll the source

The authoritative public record, on the cadence it actually changes. No scraping of your systems, no access to your books.

You hear about it early

An alert when something moves, with what changed and what it means — before the deadline, not after the notice.

Billing, plainly

Subscription, priced per monitored entity
You pay for what is being watched — a carrier, an entity, a license — not per seat. Monthly or annual terms are offered at signup, and the price for your product and volume is shown before you enter payment details.
Cancel any time
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Monitoring continues until then. No cancellation fee.
Refunds
If a subscription is cancelled within 14 days of the first charge and no alerts have been delivered, we refund that charge in full. Beyond that window, we refund on a pro-rata basis where a monitoring failure on our side is the cause.
Government and third-party fees
Where a product involves a filing fee or a paid data source, that cost is passed through at cost and itemized separately. It is never marked up.
What we don't do
We monitor and inform. We are not a law firm, not a licensed insurance producer, and we do not provide legal, tax or insurance advice. Where an obligation needs professional judgment, we say so and point you to the right kind of professional.

Privacy

What we collect
Two things, kept separate. Account data you give us at signup — name, work email, company, and the billing details needed to charge a subscription. Monitoring subjects — the identifiers you ask us to watch, such as a USDOT or MC number, an entity name, or a licence number. Monitoring subjects are usually public-record identifiers, not personal data.
Why we collect it
To run the subscription you bought: to watch the record you nominated, to alert you when it moves, and to bill you. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not use your data to train models.
Payment details
Card details are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe, and are stored and processed by Stripe under its own terms. Bitwright never receives or stores your full card number.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to deliver the product — payment processing, email delivery, error monitoring and hosting — each limited to what their function requires. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.
Public and government records
Our products read public and regulatory records. Where a source imposes conditions on how its data may be used — for example driver-record data governed by the Driver's Privacy Protection Act — we honour those conditions and only retrieve a record where a permitted purpose exists.
How long we keep it
Account and monitoring data for as long as your subscription is active, and for up to 12 months afterwards so a returning customer keeps their history. Billing records are kept longer where tax and accounting law requires it. You can ask us to delete your account data sooner.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email the support address below and we will respond within 30 days. Alert emails are part of the service you purchased; marketing email, if we ever send any, always carries an unsubscribe link.

This marketing site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The application uses only the cookies required to keep you signed in.
Changes and questions
If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page and notify active subscribers by email. Questions about privacy go to the same support address as everything else.
